Getting started
InstaBond launches coins on Solana using Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve. A coin starts on a curve, then moves to a Meteora DAMM v2 liquidity pool at the creator’s selected bonding point.
Browse Coins without logging in. The New, About to bond and Bonded tabs filter the feed. About to bond means at least 70% of that coin’s own SOL threshold has been raised. Sort by newest, market cap, last trade or bonding progress.
Create a coin
- Enter a name of up to 32 characters and a ticker of up to 10.
- Add a PNG, JPG or GIF image, up to 15 MB.
- Optionally add a description, X, Telegram or Website. Every link is optional.
- Choose the bonding point in SOL, or use an available dollar preset.
- Optionally enter a first buy in SOL.
- Select Create coin and confirm the transaction. A first buy can require two confirmations.
The image and metadata are uploaded before creation. The coin page displays the image, description, supplied links and full copyable contract address. Network fees and account rent apply to live launches. The name, ticker, image and bonding point cannot be edited after creation.
Bonding point
The slider controls net SOL raised, between 10 and approximately 85.005 SOL. The default targets approximately 27,000 USD in market cap at the current SOL price, clamped to the supported range. Presets target approximately 10,000, 20,000, 27,000, 35,000 or 45,000 USD; presets outside the supported range are disabled.
The preview shows tokens sold on the curve, SOL liquidity at bonding and the percentage burned. These figures come from the same curve plan used to create the coin.
Lower bonding points graduate sooner with less liquidity. The pool always opens at the curve's final price, unsold tokens are burned and liquidity is locked forever.
The coin stores its threshold in SOL. Dollar amounts are estimates and change with SOL’s price. Fees do not count toward the SOL in the curve. Buys increase progress; sells can reduce it before completion.
Trades and fees
Buy with SOL or sell tokens you hold. The trade panel shows the estimated output, fee and slippage tolerance. Curve trades charge 2%: 1.28% for the creator, 0.32% for the Insta Bond treasury and 0.40% for Meteora.
Slippage controls the minimum output you accept. A trade fails if it cannot meet that minimum. The default is 5%; use the settings control to change it.
A buy that reaches the bonding point uses only the SOL needed, plus its fee. The rest stays in your wallet. Curve trading then pauses until someone bonds the coin. After bonding, the same Buy and Sell controls route to the DAMM v2 pool; its configured fee schedule can vary with market cap.
Pending, successful and failed transactions appear as notifications. Live transactions require approval in your wallet and confirmation on Solana. Mock transactions take approximately 1.5 seconds.
Bonding and liquidity
Each coin has its own SOL threshold and progress bar. When its curve is complete, anyone can select Bond now. The transaction moves liquidity to DAMM v2 at the final curve price, burns unsold tokens outside the liquidity allocation and permanently locks the liquidity positions.
After confirmation, the bonding card shows Bonded, a pool link and the bonding time once the indexer updates. Bonding is a liquidity milestone; it does not guarantee demand or value.
Prices and market cap
Coins launch with one billion tokens and six decimal places. The curve begins with virtual reserves of 30 SOL and 1.073 billion tokens. Virtual reserves determine the starting price; they are not funds held by your wallet.
Market cap is price multiplied by the displayed supply. It is different from SOL raised and from available liquidity. Dollar estimates use a public SOL/USD price cached for 60 seconds. If the price service is unavailable, the last known quote remains available; without a previous quote, the app shows a dash.
The ≈ symbol marks dollar estimates. The SOL threshold stays fixed. Historical market-cap candles are converted using today’s displayed SOL rate, rather than historical dollar rates.
Wallets and addresses
Log in with a Solana wallet, email or X through Privy. Supported external wallets include Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. Users without a wallet receive an embedded Solana wallet.
The header shows your shortened address and SOL balance. Its menu lets you copy the address, export an embedded wallet through Privy’s secure export window, or log out. External wallets manage their own exports.
A coin’s mint is its contract address, or CA. Use Copy CA in About to copy the full address. Names and tickers can repeat, so identify coins by their mint. Explorer links open Solana Explorer; demo addresses and signatures are simulated.
